This practice runs on appointments, however, we always accept emergencies and walk-ins are welcome. We book patients for a ten-minute consultation. If you require a longer appointment for paperwork or have more than one issue, please ask reception staff to book a double appointment for you.
We ask patients to arrive five minutes before their appointment time to allow us to run as close to schedule as possible. Occasionally our doctors run late - this may be due to emergencies, or unexpected events faced by patients. Please be patient - reception staff will advise you whether your GP is running over time.
New patients are asked to arrive ten minutes prior to their appointment to allow time for staff to create their chart and complete new patient paperwork. Each family member seeing the doctor is required to book an appointment.

This practice makes appointments via a booking system, however, we do accept walk-ins, and you will be seen as soon as possible, however, patients with booked appointments will be seen first.
Procedures are generally booked between 12 pm - 2 pm weekdays. Staff will send you SMS reminders of your appointment. If you need to rebook, please let staff know as soon as possible.
Referrals, Medical Certificates, Imaging, Results, and Scripts
To maintain confidentiality and monitor your health and fulfill responsibilities regarding Medicare guidelines, you must attend your doctor for any of the above. You are able to make an appointment to see the GP of your choice at your convenience.
Recalls & Reminders
To obtain results, a member of the practice team will contact you via SMS or phone. Results are not given out over the phone to protect your privacy. You are required to make an appointment to see the doctor of your choice.
As many patients wish to see our doctors - we must run a timely schedule. If you are no longer able to attend your appointment, we ask that you please notify the practice of your cancellation as soon as possible.
Patients who fail to attend three appointments and do not cancel within an appropriate time frame may incur a fee of $35.00, and furthermore, will be unable to make any further appointments until the account is paid.
Physical/verbal abuse toward any of our staff members will not be tolerated. Any patient who displays this behavior will be asked to leave the practice and may result in being banned. Police will be informed.
After Hours Services
We are partnered with the National Home Doctors Service to provide after hours medical services. They are Australia's largest network of home visiting doctors that provide bulk billing medical care to patients throughout the night and on weekends.
Our partnership ensures your continuity of care. Following each home visit, a patient report will be sent directly to Boronia Park Medical Centre to assist with any ongoing care with your regular GP.
Home doctor visits are available on weekdays from 6pm to 8am Monday to Friday, weekends from 12pm on Saturday to 8am Monday, and 24 hours on Public Holidays.
